From Incorporation to Community Success
The City of Central, LA, a suburb of Baton Rouge, is the newest city in the state, having incorporated in 2005. Since then, Central has become a remarkable example of local government achievements based on its experience incorporating and its nonprofit-public partnership (NP3) for service delivery with IBTS. Our case study explores Central’s journey to the thriving community it is today.

Enterprise Community Partners
Since 2020, IBTS has helped Enterprise develop and expand their Keep Safe program to give affordable multifamily housing stakeholders the tools and resources they need to improve the climate resilience of their buildings.
Equitable Climate Resilience
With funding from the Kresge Foundation, IBTS conducted a two-year study on understanding how local governments can improve equitable outcomes in their climate resilience planning.
